Start with three jobs
The official loop points to food, wood, and lost crew. That means the first useful plan is role clarity: one player gathers food, one watches wood or boat needs, and one keeps the route moving.
- Food keeps the run alive.
- Wood supports the sailing loop.
- Lost crew improves recovery from mistakes.
Do not rush the first crossing
A long crossing is only good if the boat can handle a hazard. Before leaving an island, decide who calls storms, who watches supplies, and who stops extra island detours.
- Check food before launch.
- Check wood before launch.
- Keep one lookout active during open water.
Use puzzles as pauses
Mythic islands are puzzle stops, not loot buttons. Slow down, read visible prompts, and leave with enough supply margin if the solution is not clear.
- Read the island first.
- Avoid guessing hidden steps.
- Save supplies for the exit route.
